A lifelong outdoor and adventure enthusiast, Michael has cultivated his career in hospitality from its earliest beginnings. While spending a college summer working in Glacier National Park, he affirmed his awe of travel and developed a lasting affinity for living and working in resort destinations, as well as for sharing his passion with others. Why not live full-time celebrating the world’s most magical places? In the decades since, Michael immersed himself in hospitality operations from the ground up, building a global community through leadership positions at properties in Colorado, California, Florida, Italy and more. He and his family now call Maui “home,” where Michael is passing on his love of travel to his two daughters. Their adventures together are varied and far-flung, including multiple Costa Rica trips and sailing catamarans and discovering remote beaches along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast of Croatia.
At CoralTree Hospitality, Michael spearheads the expansion of the company’s residential resort and vacation rental management portfolio, leveraging 20 years of analysis, planning, sales and operational experience to identify unmet opportunities, enter new markets and increase property performance.
